PHOENIXVILLE, PA – September 20, 2025 – The University of Valley Forge Patriots women's volleyball team delivered a commanding performance on their home court, sweeping visiting Medgar Evers College 3-0 (25-11, 25-14, 25-17).
Balanced Attack Powers Patriots
Valley Forge showcased a well-rounded offensive attack led by Unique Castilho, who tallied 6 kills on a .235 hitting percentage while adding 3 service aces. Mattayah Lyndaker contributed 4 kills, and Clarissa Lockman added 2 kills along with 3 service aces.
The Patriots' serving game was particularly effective, recording an impressive 20 service aces as a team. Abigail Sumego led the charge with 8 aces, while Hadassah Rivera and Clarissa Lockman each contributed 3 aces to the cause.
Defensive Dominance
Valley Forge's defense was anchored by Hadassah Rivera, who recorded a match-high 17 digs to keep rallies alive. Castilho and Lyndaker each added 5 and 4 digs respectively, while Areigna Dales chipped in 4 digs of her own.
