The University of Valley Forge women's volleyball team faced a formidable challenge on the road against conference leader Gallaudet, falling 3-0 (6-25, 5-25, 7-25). Despite the result, the Patriots displayed effort and resilience against one of the strongest teams in the United East.
Telia Robinson led the Patriots' attack with five kills, while Rhena Lauver and Jada Flint contributed additional offensive efforts. Madelyn Oakley provided six assists, helping to facilitate plays, and added seven digs to bolster the defense.
The back row was active throughout the match, with Lauver collecting a team-high nine digs and both Oakley and Mattayah Lyndaker adding seven apiece. Genesis Gasca stood tall at the net with two blocks, providing key defensive stops.
While the Patriots faced tough opposition, their determination and teamwork were evident throughout the match. Each rally and defensive effort reflected their commitment to improvement and competitive spirit.
