MEDIA, PA – The University of Valley Forge men's soccer team showed tremendous resilience on Friday night, earning a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Penn State Brandywine at Brandywine Field. Melvin Maldonado's late equalizer in the 82nd minute salvaged a crucial conference point for the Patriots.

Playing in front of 150 fans, Valley Forge found themselves trailing after Penn State Brandywine's Ethan Faulkner scored in the 52nd minute. However, the Patriots refused to fold, with Maldonado breaking through in the 82nd minute off a beautiful assist from Nathan Kalapala to level the score.
