BROOKLYN, N.Y. (Feb. 26, 2026) — The University of Valley Forge men's volleyball team completed a doubleheader sweep at Medgar Evers College on Thursday at Cougars Cave, earning back-to-back 3–0 victories to improve to 6–8 on the season.
Across the two matches, UVF totaled 34 service aces and won all six sets, including two sets in the opener that were recorded as defaults.
Match 1 — UVF def. Medgar Evers, 3–0 (25–0, 25–0, 25–12)
The opening match began with an unusual start as Medgar Evers did not have enough available players to begin play, resulting in the first two sets being recorded as 25–0 defaults for the Patriots. UVF then took the court for the third set and closed out the match with a 25–12 win.
In the contested set, UVF hit .500 as a team (12 kills, 2 errors on 20 attempts) and added seven service aces.
Isaiah Reece and Jayce Blanton led the Patriots with five kills apiece. Reece hit .667 (5-1-6) and added three aces, while Tyler Patrick directed the offense with 10 assists. Dennis Lampreia contributed three aces from the service line.
Match 2 — UVF def. Medgar Evers, 3–0 (25–9, 25–12, 25–15)
UVF carried momentum into the nightcap and applied constant pressure from the service line, finishing with 27 aces in the match. The Patriots recorded 29 kills, 22 assists, 32 digs, and three solo blocks.
Isaiah Reece paced all UVF attackers with 11 kills on .474 hitting (11-2-19), adding three aces and seven digs. Drew White and Dennis Lampreia each finished with five kills, with Drew White delivering a team-high eight aces and Lampreia adding five aces.
Setter Tyler Patrick filled the stat sheet with 18 assists, five aces, five digs, and a solo block, while Chris Brown added three kills, three aces, and a solo block.
