Milestone RBI Single Highlights Historic Achievement for Patriots' Ace
BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – April 9, 2026 – In a moment that will be remembered in University of Valley Forge softball history, senior Harley Wakeman recorded her 100th career hit with a two-RBI single to center field in the top of the fifth inning during the Patriots' 20-8 victory over Sarah Lawrence College at Mary LeVine Stadium.
The historic hit came with Valley Forge already leading 9-7 in the fifth inning. With Clarissa Lockman on third, Melina Ragotzy on second, and Marissa Urner on third, Wakeman stepped to the plate and delivered a clutch single to center field that plated two runs and gave the Patriots an 11-7 advantage.
