Valley Forge Cross Country Teams Excel at Bryn Mawr Invitational

BRYN MAWR, PA – August 30, 2025 – Valley Forge's men's and women's cross country teams delivered outstanding performances at the prestigious Bryn Mawr Invitational, showcasing the depth and talent of both programs as they kick off the 2025 season.

Women's 5000m Results

The Valley Forge women demonstrated exceptional competitive spirit, with Sofia Troland leading the charge in 18th place overall with a time of 22:21.90, earning a personal record and valuable points for the team. Her performance marked a significant milestone as she achieved a new PR while competing against a strong field of regional talent.

Autumn Karampatsos followed with a solid 39th place finish in 24:10.70, while Madison Naples (53rd, 28:20.50) and Ava Mello (54th, 28:49.70) ran strong races in their respective positions. The women's squad showed excellent pack running with Mariah Lyon (56th, 30:43.60), Mona Koko (57th, 32:31.00), Grace Schmidheini (60th, 37:42.00), Danalys Alvarado (61st, 39:26.10), and Brianna Walker (62nd, 43:38.20) all contributing to the team effort.

Men's 5000m Results

The Valley Forge men's team showcased impressive speed and tactical racing, led by Nathaniel Gale's strong 28th place performance in 18:23.10. Paul Nadrowski followed closely in 32nd place with a time of 18:42.40, demonstrating the team's competitive depth.

Bernardo McGraw earned recognition with a personal record performance, finishing 42nd in 19:48.80. Javier Soto Rodriguez also achieved a personal best, crossing the finish line in 54th place with a time of 21:29.30, highlighting the team's commitment to individual improvement.

Additional strong performances came from Dawson Bell (64th, 24:04.10), Benjamin Schoonmaker (65th, 24:11.80), Cole Cherry (73rd, 26:02.30), and Everett Flower (76th, 26:45.30).

The strong showing at Bryn Mawr positions both Valley Forge teams well as they continue their 2025 campaign. The combination of veteran leadership and emerging talent suggests promising seasons ahead for both programs.
