Valley Forge Competes at the Paul Short Run

Bethlehem, PA – The University of Valley Forge men's and women's cross country teams raced against deep fields at the 2025 Paul Short Run, hosted at Lehigh University on October 3
rd. Both squads ran hard on a challenging course and used the meet as a key indicator for championships.

On the men's side,Â
Nathaniel Gale led the Patriots with a 29:24.6 8K, followed byÂ
Paul Nadrowski in 30:47.4,Â
Javier Soto Rodriguez in 34:08.6,Â
Dawson Bell in 36:32.7, andÂ
Rhys Schoonmaker in 40:15.9; teammatesÂ
Cole Cherry (42:53.0) andÂ
Everett Flower (43:48.2) also finished the day for the program. Of these men, Javier, Dawson, Cole, and Everett all posted PRs (personal records), while
Nathaniel Gale ran a season best.

Sofia Troland paced the Patriots with a 26:51.0 6K, followed byÂ
Ava Mello in 31:52.6,Â
Mona Koko in 35:06.1,Â
Mariah Lyon in 36:29.4, andÂ

Danalys Alvarado finished in 46:00.0 as an additional team scorer. Among the women,Â

Team finishes reflected the size and strength of the Paul Short fields: the men's team placed 33
rd/35 as a unit, and the women's team also placed 33
