PHOENIXVILLE, PA – The University of Valley Forge women's volleyball team delivered a commanding performance on Wednesday night, sweeping Penn State-Scranton 25-6, 25-16, 25-13 at the University of Valley Forge Gymnasium.

Offensive Firepower

Clarissa Lockman led all players posting 10 kills on 33 attempts with a .152 hitting percentage. Lockman also contributed four service aces and seven digs in the balanced effort.

Unique Castilho added nine kills while recording six digs, and Hadassah Rivera made her presence felt at the service line with a match-high six aces to go along with 12 digs.

Mattayah Lyndaker orchestrated the offense with 12 assists while adding three kills and four points of her own.

Defensive Dominance

The Patriots' defense was relentless, holding Penn State-Scranton to a -.194 hitting percentage for the match. Valley Forge out-dug their opponents 45-37 and limited Penn State-Scranton to just seven kills on the night.

Issy Davila anchored the back row with 10 digs and added three service aces, while Abigail Risi contributed three digs along with a service ace and two points.
