The University of Valley Forge women's volleyball team put forth a strong effort but fell 3-0 (14-25, 13-25, 13-25) against Wilson College in a United East matchup at The Pit. The Patriots demonstrated resilience and continued to fight for every point throughout the match.
Telia Robinson led the team with three kills, five digs, and a block, while Rhena Lauver and Madelyn Oakley each contributed two kills to the offensive effort. Oakley also added six assists and four digs, playing a pivotal role in facilitating the team's attack. Jada Flint and Mattayah Lyndaker both chipped in with service aces, adding to the team's energy on the court.
The Patriots showed flashes of strong defensive play, recording 20 digs as a team to counter Wilson's aggressive offense. Their commitment to improving and competing as a unit was evident in key rallies, especially in the opening set.
Though the result didn't go their way, the Patriots continue to grow and develop as they focus on closing the season with determination and pride.
