The University of Valley Forge women's volleyball team fought hard in their conference match against Bryn Athyn but fell 3-0 (15-25, 16-25, 12-25). Despite the loss, the Patriots demonstrated perseverance and teamwork, particularly in the early sets.
Telia Robinson led the offense with three kills and added five digs, while Rhena Lauver contributed two kills and a team-high 10 digs, anchoring the defensive effort. Madelyn Oakley was instrumental in setting up plays with four assists, and she also added two kills and an ace.
The Patriots showed determination in the second set, rallying to stay within striking distance and putting pressure on the Lions with strong defensive plays. Lauver and Mattayah Lyndaker combined for 17 digs, showcasing their hustle and commitment.
While the result wasn't in their favor, the Patriots continue to grow as a team and are focused on finishing the season strong.
