Patriots Fall in Season Opener
Schuykill Haven, PA – The University of Valley Forge Women's Soccer suffered a road defeat to the Lions of Penn State - Schuykill on Thursday afternoon. The Lions bested the Patriots by a score of 9-0.

The Patriots were highlighted by Keegan Thompson who came up with 8 saves throughout the match.

With the loss, the Patriots start out 0-1 however they get right back in action on Saturday when they take on Penn State - Brandywine in their home opener match with kickoff slated for 11am.
