Farra Set to Lead Women's Soccer Program

Phoenixville, PA – University of Valley Forge Director of Athletics Gretchen LeVan has announced the new hire of Mark Farra as Head Women's Soccer Coach. Farra served as the Head Women's Soccer Coach at Cecil College in North East Maryland from 2007-2011, and then again in 2015-2017.

"We are so excited for Mark to join our team at UVF," LeVan shared. "He is 100% on a mission and we cannot wait to see how God uses him in this new role."  

Following his stint at Cecil, Farra served as Volunteer Assistant Coach at Coatesville High School in 2017-2019. Furthermore, in 2011-2013, Farra was a Personal Coach/Trainer at Judo Training (Coatesville, PA), as well as the Head Girls' Soccer Coach at Bishop Shanahan (West Chester, PA) where he collected an overall record of 33-20-3, and earned a spot in the PIAA District 1 Playoffs.

Farra earned his U.S. Soccer F License in July, 2016.

With over 30 years of soccer experience, Farra will continue to build the Women's Soccer program as they enter the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) this upcoming Fall.

Farra earned a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Information Systems from Eastern University (St. Davids, PA) in 2006, and a Master of Arts in Business Administration in 2008.

Currently residing in Coatesville, Farra enjoys playing music in several bands and worship teams in his free time.
