Patriots Lose In First Conference Game To The Highlanders

Lancaster, PA– The University of Valley Forge Men's Baseball team hosted their conference opener vs the Cairn University Highlanders resulting in a loss, 18-4.
 

Game 1

The Patriots started off strong vs the Highlanders, going down early by 7 runs, but putting together a strong fourth inning to make it 7-3. This rally was led by Waldo Odens Jr who hit 3 for 3 and had 2 RBI's on the day. Sadly, the comeback fell short, the Highlanders were able to capitalize on a lot of fielding errors, and held strong for the win. The win goes to Emilio Alvarez for the Highlanders, the loss goes to Zachary Nunnery for the Patriots.   
 

Whats Next?
 

The Patriots will play the Highlanders again at Cairn University in a double header on Saturday, April the 6th.
