Langhorne, PA– The University of Valley Forge Men's Baseball team traveled away Saturday, to play against the Cairn University highlanders in a Double Header losing both games, respectively 2-16 and 0-15.
Game 1
The Patriots were able to get some good hits against the Highlanders, 9 hits total on the game. This did not translate into points for the Patriots due to some solid fielding from Cairn. The win goes to Sam Dralle for the Highlanders, and the loss goes to
Jeffery Espinal for the Patriots.
Game 2
Game 2 was a different story for the young squad, who have been battling injuries for the past few games. They were unable to hit as well, and went down by a lot early, due to some mistakes. Four runners were left on base over the course of the game, which lead to a shut out by the Highlanders. The win goes to Albert Taylor for the Crusader, and the loss goes to
Joseph Aguiar for the Patriots
