Front Royal, VA – The University of Valley Forge Men's Baseball team traveled away Sunday, to play against the Christendom College Crusaders in a Double Header losing both games, respectively 3-10 and 0-7.
Game 1
The Patriots were unable to get focused in game one versus the Crusaders, only getting two hits in the game. This was in large part due to the great pitching of Frank Scarchilli who faced 26 at bats, but only gave up 3 runs. The win goes to Frank Scarchilli for the Crusaders and the loss goes to
Joseph Aguiar for the Patriots.
Game 2
Unfortunately, the pitching and fielding of the Crusaders continued to play strong in the second game. The Patriots were able to get a hit from
James Jackson, Joesph Aguiar, and
Richard Cosgrove, but were unable to convert those into runs. The win goes to Ian Heisler for the Crusader and the loss goes to
Jeffery Espinal for the Patriots
