Ashton, PA– The University of Valley Forge Women's Softball team hosted a home game, at an away field due to weather. They played the Alfred State Pioneers in a double header. The Patriots lost both games with the Pioneers winning 19-1 in the first game, and 20-1 in the second.
Game 1
The Patriots struggled in game one, and could not get hot on offense versus the strong pitching from the Pioneers Arianna Traugott, who only allowed two hits all game. The win goes to Arianna Traugott for the Pioneers and the loss goes to
Lindsay LeSueur for the Patriots.
Game 2
Unfortunately, the Pioneers stayed hot, scoring 20 runs, 12 of which came in the first two innings. The Patriots were unable to rally as a team, but were able to score a run off of
Lindsay LeSueur who singled to center field at the top of the first, she brought in
Carlee Conrad. The win goes to Brittany Fisher for the Pioneers, the loss goes to
Carlee Conrad for the Patriots

The Patriots will travel to Takoma Park, MD to play Washington Adventist University on Wednesday the 27th of March.
