Takoma Park, MD– The University of Valley Forge Women's Softball team traveled to Maryland to play the Washington Adventist University Shock in a double header. The Patriots lost both games with the Shock winning 23-5 in the first game, and 21-7 in the second game.
Game 1
The Patriots struck first in game one with a double to center field from Kait Hess. The Patriots were unable to keep the momentum, but did bring in 3 more runs at the top of the 5th. The win goes to Rece Rosario for the Shock and the loss goes to
Carlee Conrad for the Patriots.
Game 2
The Patriots went down early in the second game, but begun to heat up at the top of the fourth. The Patriots stacked up 12 hits due to great batting from,
Megan Firth and
Lindsay LeSueur. Alle Russell earned the win for the Shock, the loss goes to Kait Hess for the Patriots.

The Patriots will travel to Clarks Summit, PA to play Clarks Summit University on Saturday the 30th of March.
