Mont Alto, PA - The University of Valley Forge Women's Volleyball team took to the road for an away match against the Nittany Lions of Penn State Mont Alto. The Patriots fell 3 sets to 1.
It was an off night for the Patriots Volleyball team. UVF took a 1-0 set lead by winning the first game 25-21. The second game saw the same score recorded only it went in favor of the Nittany Lions. The Lions kept the momentum and went to win the final two sets by scores of 25-17 and 25-22. Offensively, the Patriots were led by
Megan Freed with 14 kills. Defensively, Valley Forge was led by
Lindsay LeSueur who had 18 digs throughout the 4-set match. With the loss, UVF drops to 2-3 on the season. They will look to bounce back when they travel to Bryn Mawr College this weekend for a tri-match against Goucher College and the host, Bryn Mawr College.
