Phoenixville, PA - The University of Valley Forge Men's Soccer team welcomed the McDaniel College Green Terror the UVF on Tuesday afternoon. After a hot afternoon where temperatures reached in to the 90's, the Patriots dropped to 0-2 on the year after an 8-0 lost to McDaniel.
McDaniel got the scoring started in the 24th minute when the Green Terror's Mike Pew put a shot into the back of the net. McDaniel went on to score four more times in the first half and take a 5-0 lead into the halftime break. They went on to add three more goals in the second half to make the final score McDaniel 8 and Valley Forge 0. Patriot's keeper
Jacob Kelly had a strong day between the pipes. He was peppered with shots all day and managed to make 12 saves on the afternoon. UVF will look to get into the win column when they travel to Penn State Hazelton on Friday, September 7th.
