Patriots Fall to Bison

Washington, DC – The University of Valley Forge Women's Basketball team went on the road to face the Bison of Gallaudet University of Saturday afternoon.  The Patriots fell by a final score of 91-47. 

Bailey Mayforth led the Patriots in scoring with 12 points.  The Patriots now 10-8 had their 3-game winning streak snapped on Saturday afternoon.    

The Bison were led offensively by Hannah Neild with 31 points and 9 assists.  Sabina Shysh added 29 points and 7 assists.

It was a long afternoon for the Patriots.  Gallaudet came out with hot shooting.  The Bison went 20-40 from the field including 3 of 6 from behind the 3 point line in the first half.  UVF was unable to get the offense going.  Gallaudet continued increase their lead and would go on to beat the Patriots 91-47. 

Up Next

The Patriots will look to bounce back when they travel to Allentown, PA to take on Cedar Crest College.  Game time is set for 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 13th.
