Dover, DE – The University of Valley Forge Men's Soccer team traveled to Dover, DE for a game against the Wolverines of Wesley College. The Patriots fell by a final score of 3-0.
The Wolverines wasted little time putting a goal on the scoreboard. In just the 2nd minute of the game, the Wolverine's Chimaobi Ikwuagwu put the ball in the back of the net to make the score 1-0. Less than two minutes later, Wesley would add their second goal off of the foot of Nicholas Hood. The Wolverines added another goal in the second half that would make the final score 3-0. Jacob Kelley saw a barrage of shots all evening. Kelley saw 27 shots come his way. He made 7 saves during the contest.
The Patriots will look to get back in the win column on Monday, October 22nd when they travel to Pucellville, VA to take on Patrick Henry College. Kick-off is slated for 4:00 pm.
