Phoenixville, PA – The University of Valley Forge Women's Volleyball played host to the Lions of Penn State Mont Alto on Friday evening. The Patriots and Lions went toe to toe in a five set match. Unfortunately, Valley Forge fell short and lost 3 sets to 2.
Valley Forge and Mont Alto battled back and forth. Twice the Patriots fought back from being down a set. The Patriots were unable to complete the comeback on Friday evening against the Lions. Offensively, the Patriots were led by Senior
Megan Freed with 22 kills.
Kaitlyn Hess added 33 assists for UVF. Defensively, Valley Forge was led by
Lindsay LeSueur with 29 digs.
Kaitlyn Hess added 27 dig for UVF.
Megan Freed totaled 24 digs. On her 23rd, Freed recorded the 1,000th dig of her career.
