Box Score LOUISVILLE, KY- The Patriots entered Saturday's Mid-East Championship game vs. Johnson University after beating #4 Crown College, and then #2 Kentucky Christian University. Johnson University, the #1 seed entered after beating #4 Piedmont University. The #3 Patriots would not be denied of another Region Championship as they beat the Royals 90-71.

Thorne McIntosh led the way with 24 points. Devin Williams had 20, and Sean Word had 16. The Patriots shot 56.7% from the field while limiting the Royals to only 39.1%.

Devin Williams won the tournament MVP for his performance. Sean Word and Thorne McIntosh also won selection on the all-tournament team.

With the win, the Patriots receive a bid to the NCCAA Division II National Tournament in Ankeny, IA. The tournament will be held March 9-12. The seeding and competing teams is TBD.
