PHOENIXVILLE, PA- The 18
th ranked Chargers of Lancaster Bible College came into town undefeated Tuesday night, and they would go home that way. 4 Chargers would score 20 or more points for the 25 point victory improving them to 15-0.
The game got off to a quick start as both times scored back to back threes. At 16:42 the Chargers would extend their lead to 10, 15-5. At the 9 minute mark Bryce Williams drained a three putting them up by 14. With 5:29 left the lead was up to 21 when Dondre Perry hit a jumper. With 1:41 left it was Perry again bringing the lead to 24, the Chargers largest lead of the half. They would go in at the half up 24, 57-33.
In the second half, the Chargers could sit back on their lead, but continued to make shots. The closest the Patriots go was down 17 with 6:05 left in the game. With just about a minute left, Kurt Keltner hit a 3, giving the Chargers their 100
th point, and the 25 point lead. Your final from Phoenixville, 100-75, in favor of the Chargers.
Bryce Williams led all scorers with 22 points. Jordan Mellinger scored 21, including going 10-10 from the free throw line.
Jerome Staley and
Devin Williams each had 13 for the Patriots in the loss.
Jalen Archer had 11.
The Patriots will travel to Boston Massachusetts this coming weekend as they will face Fisher College on Friday, and then Pine Manor College on Saturday. Friday's tip-off is set for 7pm and Saturday's is set for 1:30PM.
