PHOENIXVILLE, PA-It was a much needed home game following an unsuccessful road trip to Oklahoma, as the Patriots took on the Mustangs of Mid-Atlantic Christian University Friday night.
After a back and forth 1^st quarter, the Mustangs led 15-13. The Patriots were just heating up, as they would outscore the Mustangs 24-7 in the 2^nd to go in at the half with a 37-22 lead.

In the 3^rd quarter the story was more of the Patriots defense as this time they held the Mustangs to only 8 points, outscoring MACU 24-8. At this point the Patriots could sit back, as they went on to a 78-56 victory.

Head Coach Gretchen LeVan said, "I was very pleased with the victory having not only won on the scoreboard, but in shooting percentage, rebounding, and assists. We executed our defense very nicely."

Leading the charge for the Patriots was Jhanel Brown who had 17 points and 9 rebounds. Mikala Brinson had 14. 8 of 9 players who appeared in the game scored. The Patriots out rebounded the Mustangs 48-29.

Cham Brice scored 27 for the Mustangs in the loss.

With the win, the Patriots improve to 4-6 on the season. They are back in action tomorrow, Saturday, January 16^th, as they host Trinity Washington. Tip-off is set for 12pm.
