Box Score 01/07/2016 vs. #2 Arlington Baptist College
MOORE, OK- The Patriots opened up the Hudiburg Tip-Off Classic facing the #2 ranked Arlington Baptist College Patriots.

In the first half, the Patriots charged right off the bat as they went on an 8-0 run to start the game. Arlington would come back though just two minutes later as they would tie the game at 10. UVF would maintain a small margin until Arlington would take their first lead with 8:36 left in the first half. From there it was all Patriots as they would build their lead by as much as 20 and would go in at the half with a 14 point lead 59-45.

he second half started, and on came the Patriots of Arlington. They slowly climbed right back into the game and tied it at 78 with 8 minutes left to play. They would take the lead for good at the 4 minute mark going up 85-84. They would lead by as many as 9, and won by a score of 96-90.

Jerome Staley led the Patriots with 14 points. DeAndre Gadsden and Devin Williams each had 13. The loss drops UVF to 2-8.


01/08/2016 vs. Trinity Bible College
MOORE, OK- Day two of the Classic featured the Patriots verse the Trinity Bible College Lions (ND).

Again, the Patriots started out with the lead, on a 5-0 run to start the game. That lead would go away quickly, and the Lions were right in the game. The Patriots led by as many as 6 in the first half, but the Lions would go in at the half with a 9 point lead, 31-22.

After half time, the Patriots never seemed to get into rhythm, and Trinity would lead by as many as 19 at one point. Trinity would go on for the 70-57 win.

Tony Hazzard led all Patriots with 11 points. Devin Williams contributed 10. With the loss the Patriots fall to 2-9 and 0-2 in the Classic.

01/09/2016 vs.#1 Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College
MOORE, OK- Day three featured a rematch from November. The #1 ranked Saints of Hillsdale won that game by 14 at the Infinito's Tip-Off Classic.

Hillsdale came out strong going on an 11-0 run to start the first 2 minutes of the game. The offense of the Patriots never seemed to get going as they shot 8 for 30 and went into the half trailing by 17, 43-26.

The story of the second half was much like the first, as the Saints led by as much as 21. At the 13 minute mark the Patriots got the lead down to 9, but that was the closest they would ever come. Hillsdale would build that lead back up, and win by a final score of 90-72.

4 different Saints scored in double digits, led by Xavier Hunter who scored 17.

Jerome Staley led the Patriots with 17. Willie Saffore was next with 9. The loss brings the Patriots to a 2-10 record. They finished the Classic 0-3

UVF 's next game is Wednesday, January 13, when they host Washington Adventist University. Game time is set for 7pm.
