WASHINGTON, DC- The University of Valley Forge Patriots Women's Soccer Team traveled to Washington, DC on Monday, for a 4pm kickoff vs. the Tigers of Trinity Washington University. The Tigers 5 goals on 38 shots were enough to lead them to a 5-0 victory.
Leading the prowl for the Tigers was Jessica Alonso and Raissa Audrey Tseumi, each scoring 2 goals. Alonso opened up the scoring just 7 minutes into the game. It would be Alonso again sealing the game with the last goal in the 75th minute.
The Patriots were led by freshmen goalkeeper
Makenzi Maun who had 13 saves.
Brittany Kramer and
Karalyn Vilcko had the only 2 shots for the Patriots.
The Patriots will return to action September 30th, as they take on Washington Adventist University at home, kickoff is set for 2:30pm.
