PHOENIXVILLE, PA- It was a cold and rainy day for Thursday's match up featuring the Washington Adventist University Shock, and your University of Valley Forge Patriots. In a game where both teams had to battle the weather, the Shock came out on top by a final score of 5-0.

The Shock opened up the scoring in the 16th minute, as Cristina Reyes netted the games first goal for an early 1-0 lead. The Shock would then score twice more in the first, and then tack on 2 more goals in the second half for a final of 5-0.

For the Patriots, Makenzi Maun tallied 13 saves. Offensively, Olivia Strohm led the way with five shots.

The Patriots next game will be Saturday, October 3, when they travel to Penn State Schuylkill. Game time is set for 1pm.
