PHOENIXVILLE, PA – The University of Valley Forge Women's Volleyball Team dropped a pair of games in a tri-match at Bryn Mawr College on Saturday afternoon. They lost to the host school, Bryn Mawr, 3-0 (7-25, 10-25, 13-25). Their second match, against Moravian College, they also lost 3-0 (13-25, 22-25, 9-25).
In the opening match against Bryn Mawr, the Patriots struggled defensively. As a result, they were not able to stay with the Owls. The Owls overwhelmed the Patriots, out attacking them with 24-5 in kills. They also had 16 aces compared to the Patriots 5.
Megan Freed led the Patriots with 3 kills and 9 digs.
In the Patriots second match against Moravian the team battled very hard, but this time their service game did not allow them to build any momentum they were getting offensively. After Moravian dominated the first set 25-13, the Patriots looked to rebound in set two, but a late push gave Moravian the victory, 25-22. They would go on to win set there, 25-9.

Brittany Eberly kept many points alive with a game-high 13 digs.
