CABRINI, PA- In the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic, a strong first half was all the Knights of Neumann University would need, as they beat the Patriots 85-68.
The Knights would lead by as much as 25, led by three different players scoring in double digits. They would go in at the half up 52-28.
In the second half, the Patriots would fight back, but the closest margin they would manage was still 15.
Devin Williams had 20 points and
Thorne McIntosh would have 16 in the loss.
The Patriots drop to 2-5 on the season, while Neumann improves to 3-3.
The Patriots will have 2 more games before the Christmas break. Their next game will be on Saturday, December 5th, as they host Newport News Apprentice School. The tip-off is set for 3:00PM.
