ALTOONA, PA - The University of Valley Forge Women's Volleyball Team dropped a pair of games over the weekend against two tough opponents. On Friday they were knocked of by Penn State Altoona in straight sets, (12-25, 8-25, 10-25). On Saturday things didn't get much better as they lost 3-0 to Mt. Aloysius College (6-25, 9-25, 9-25).
Freshman
Megan Freed led the team in kills for both matches, notching 8 and 4 respectively.
Brittany Eberly led the team defensively with dig totals of 7 and 8.
It was a tough road trip for the team as they closed out their 6th straight road contest without a victory. They will now return home for a Tuesday night match-up against Penn College of Technology at 7PM and look to get back in the victory column. They are currently 4-10 on the season.
