Patriots Drop Straight Sets to Knights

SUMMERDALE, PA- The University of Valley Forge Patriots Volleyball Team traveled to face the Central Penn College Knights on Tuesday night. The Knights would win in straight sets 25-19, 25-16, and 25-17.

For the Knights of Central Penn College, Lauree Weigand led the way with 12 kills. She also had 4 aces and 2 assists.

For your University of Valley Forge Patriots, Morgan Freed had 6 kills as well as 3 aces. Jamie Summers also contributed with 10 assists and 1 ace.

The Patriots will look to bounce back Wednesday, October 14 as they travel to face Penn State Abington. Game is set to start at 7PM and can be watched live online at http://abingtonsports.com/watch/?Live=45 .
