PHOENIXVILLE, PA- The University of Valley Forge Men's Soccer Team won in dramatic fashion as they beat Penn State Hazleton in overtime by a score of 3-2.
After one half, there was no score as both teams went back and forth. The shot totals were dead even at 7 apiece.
Scoring happened quickly in the second half as the Nittany Lions scored two quick goals at 51:29 and 57:14 giving them a 2-0 lead. The score would remain that way until

th minute pulling to within 1. The Patriots kept pressing, and with only a few seconds left
Preston Saunders fed a pass to Nyekan who pulled through the defense and scored just as time expired to send the game into overtime.
In overtime, it seemed as it would be a battle as 8 minutes went by quickly. Then the connection of Saunders and Nyekan happened again as Nyekan would drill the game winner and complete his hat trick at 98:58.
The Patriots are 2-1 in their last 3 games with the 1 loss coming in overtime. Nyekan has 6 goals in the last 3 games played. The Patriots will wrap up their season on Tuesday, October 27, as they travel to face Delaware Valley University at 4:00pm. Â
