DOYLESTOWN, PA- The Patriots ended their season Tuesday with a 3-0 loss at the hands of the Aggies of Delaware Valley University.
Just 8 minutes into the game, the Aggies took the early lead off of a corner kick making it 1-0. A few minutes later in the 17th minute they would increase their lead as they scored on a header from Peter Tantillo. The score at the half would be 2-0.
In the second half there was no scoring until the 86th minute when Tantillo would put in his second goal of the game off of a rebound after Patriot goalkeeper Alan Verone Jr. made two previous saves. That would be the final goal of the game as the Patriots would fall 3-0.
The Patriots would only manage 3 shots all game, 2 of them on goal. Alan Verone Jr. had 14 saves.
Head Coach Vernon Dorsey said, "We need to be consistent. Our last stretch of games we played well, but we need to maintain that type of play throughout the season."
