PHOENIXVILLE, PA- The Falcons of Fisher College traveled from Boston, Massachusetts to play the University of Valley Forge Patriots Monday.
The game went back and forth early. The Patriots had what they thought was an early 1-0 lead on a header from
Kevin Carbajal on a corner kick, but they were called offsides to negate the goal. The Falcons would get on the board later with the game's first goal at 35:49 by Edger Gomes giving them the 1-0 lead. Just a few minutes later, the Falcons were awarded a penalty shot after the Patriots committed a foul inside the box. Tyler Gahara would drill it into the back of the net giving the Falcons a 2-0 lead and it would remain that way going to the half.
Early in the second half, the Falcons tacked on their third goal making the score 3-0. The Patriots would get on the board in the 86
th minute when
Hunter Taylor would knock in a header from
Samuel Ngoi Bikim cutting the Falcon lead to 2 with only a few minutes left. Fisher College would seal the win when they scored in the last minute making the score 4-1 which would be your final.
The Patriots return to action Saturday, October 17, when they will host King's College at 3:00PM.
