PHOENIXVILLE, PA- The Patriots played host to the Bryn Athyn College Lions for the second time this season.  After falling, 2-5 in their home opener, the men's soccer team was hoping for a different outcome but suffered the same fate as the Lions outscored the Patriots, 0-6.

The men started strong making several attacks at the net within the first few minutes.  However, as Bryn Athyn recorded their first goal at the 6:58 mark, the appeared all momentum shifted to the visitors.  Multiple mental errors plagued the Patriots as the Lions would outmaneuver the host school to record two more goals in the first half and another three goals in the second half.  As time started to wind down, the Patriots made several last stitch efforts to get on the board but with each shot the team watched as the ball missed the net by inches.

"We showed growth tonight", explained Head Men's Soccer Coach Vernon Dorsey. "Overall there is more continuity in our play but it is the mental errors that we need to overcome to get the win."

The men's soccer team travels for the final game of the week, heading to Penn State Hazelton, Thursday, September 25.  The game is set for a 6PM start!
