PHOENIXVILLE, PA- The men's soccer team played host to Baptist Bible College, Saturday, September 13. In an East Region matchup, the Defenders got the best of the Patriots, outscoring the host team, 7-1.
It didn't take long for the Defenders to make their presence known, recording their first goal in less than three minutes from Jon Pannebaker. Over the course of the first half the Defenders would break apart the Patriots' defense, recording four more goals by halftime. At 26:04 the Patriots managed to string together a series of strategic passes and connect with their top scorer, Kevin Carbajal, to record their lone goal.
Two more goals in the second half in favor of the Defenders put the game out of reach for the Patriots.
The men remain at home for their next contest, hosting Keystone College, Monday, September 15. Kickoff is scheduled for 4PM.
