LA PLUME, PA- The women's volleyball team competed in their first road match of the season, traveling to host school Keystone College. The Knights defeated the Lady Patriots in three sets with final scores of, 25-18, 25-17 and 25-21.
After staying right on the heels of the Giants for the first couple points, the Lady Patriots started to fall behind after a series of receiving errors. The women were able to correct their errors but not enough to overcome the point deficit between themselves and the Giants.
Madison Arrowsmith and
Gabrielle Martin ended the night with six kills apiece.
Mackenzie Thibodeau recorded eight assists and nine digs. Brittney Eberly recorded a game high of 21 digs along with three aces.
The women head further up north to participate in a tri-match hosted by Alfred State College, Sunday, September 14. The Lady Patriots will compete against the host school at 10AM followed by match against Central Penn College at 12PM.
