PHOENIXVILLE, PA- The Valley Forge Christian College women's volleyball team hosted Penn State Schuylkill, Wednesday, September 10.  Showing their strength in serves, the Lady Patriots swept the Lions in three straight sets, 3-0.

Serves were key to the women's victory.  Led by Madison Arrowsmith with 10 aces, the women recorded a total of 22 aces over the Lion.  Finding her swing again, Gabrielle Martin led the offense with nine kills and four aces of her own.  Covering the floor, the Lady Patriots left little room for the Lions to score, taking the three sets by finals scores of, 25-14, 25-3 and 25-16.

The women wrap up the week with a road trip to northern Pennsylvania and New York.  The Lady Patriots are set to compete against host school Keystone College, Saturday, September 13, before moving on to Alfred State College to play in a tri-match.
