PHOENIXVILLE, PA- The women's basketball team kicked off a week of games in a less than desirable fashion, losing to East Region competitor Lancaster Bible College, Monday, January 20.
The Patriots were held to their lowest shooting percentage of the season, going just 9 for 45 from the floor. While normally able to hold some ground at the boards, the Patriots seemed unable to take control, getting out rebounded 17 to 63 by the Chargers. Combined with early foul trouble, the women seemed unable to get into an offensive rhythm and were defeated, 21-71, by the end of the night.
The team looks for a better outcome in their game against St. Joseph's College (NY), Wednesday, January 22. The women host the Bears at 6 pm.
Go Patriots!
