MORRISTOWN, NJ- The Lady Patriots played an intense four-set match against the Screaming Eagles of College of St. Elizabeth on Sunday, September 15.  Although they were able to take the third set, the Patriots could not get their offense going on a run and fell after the fourth set, 1-3.

After a slow first set and losing 11-25, the Lady Patriots refocused and came just three points shy of taking the second set.  In the third, they limited their errors at the net and serve-receiving, and continually attacked to capture the third set, 25-18.  Unable to make clean plays at the net in the fourth, the Lady Patriots continually found themselves on the wrong end of the whistle, and let the fourth set slip away.

Courtney Farabee played solid defense, earning 13 digs and two service aces.

Katie Clarke had 12 kills, nine digs and four aces.

Carli Kile recorded 25 assists, 10 digs and two aces.

The Patriots return home and prepare for a long week of home games.  The week starts off hosting Bryn Athyn College on Tuesday, September 17 at 7 pm.  The Lady Patriots look to redeem themselves after losing to the Lions in three straight sets earlier in the month.
