WASHINGTON, D.C. – The women's basketball team wrapped up their weekend at the Gallaudet University Holiday Tournament with a loss to host college, Gallaudet.  Freshman guard Mikala Brinson was named to the All-Tournament Team!

It all came down to the boards.  The women, down one of their power forwards due to injury, struggled to control the rebound game and were outrebounded, 30-64.  Unable to control the ball with a mix of a low shooting percentage, left the team trailing the Gallaudet Bison from start to finish.  The Patriots were defeated, 34-87.

Despite the loss, the Patriots represented on the All-Tournament team with freshman Mikala Brinson.  Brinson recorded 20 points, four steals and two rebounds in the game.

The Patriots take the next several weeks to refocus over the Christmas break before returning to action on January 5, 2014.  The women play host to Keystone College at 3 pm.
