Harris Records 1,000th Point In Win Against Penn State Brandywine!

PHOENIXVILLE, PA- Senior Lance Harris recorded his career 1,000th point in a win against Penn State Brandywine, Tuesday, November 26.  It was a close game till the end but the Patriots manuvered their way around the court to end up on top, 89-78!

The Lions' held the upper hand for the first ten minutes of the first period, managing to keep the Patriots behind them until the 10:26 minute-mark.  Making good on his layup and his free throw, Lance Harris put the team up by two, 14-2.  The small lead was short lived as the Lions regrouped and took the lead back with force.  Going into the half, the Patriots were down by five, 36-41.

As the second period got underway, the Lions' continued to control the board.  Then the tables took a different turn.  Fighting tooth and nail to correct their errors, the Patriots cleaned up their plays and finally gained a solid lead.   Spreading the ball out the men protected their lead as time ticked away.  By the time the clock ran out the Patriots controlled the game by a comfortable 13-point lead and captured another win.

Lance Harris recorded season high of 30 points along with eight rebounds and three assists.  Jean LeBlanc tallied 17 points, five rebounds, and a pair of assists and steals.

An exciting moment during the game came with Lance Harris's first layup.  Coming into the competition Harris needed just two points to record his 1,000th career point.  Six minutes into the first period, Harris weaved his way to the basket to reach his milestone.  To date, Harris has recorded 1,028 points.

The Patriots go on Thanksgiving break before returning to The Pit for a regional match-up.  The men play host to Lancaster Bible College Tuesday, December 3 at 8 pm.  The last meeting between these two teams was the 2013 NCCAA II East Region Championship game.

The Patriots defeated the Chargers on the road, 70-55!

Congratulations to Lance Harris and Go Patriots!
