First Half Struggles Leads To Valley Forge Loss

GRAYSON, KY – The Patriots got off to a hot start against Kentucky Christian University on Friday (Nov. 12), going up by as many as 13 points midway through the first half.  However, early foul trouble and untimely turnovers caused problems for the Patriots, and control of the game was handed back over to Kentucky Christian, who managed to lead by seven points at the half. (37-30).

The Patriots came on strong again in the second half, but once again, they couldn't overcome their first half woes.

The Patriots were paced by Justin Kinsey.  Kinsey recorded 21 points on 9-of-15 shooting.  Kinsey also tallied six assists, six rebounds, and two steals.

Junior Michael Stum has a strong performance as he added 16 points.  Stum was perfect from the floor (7-for-7) and free-throw line (2-for-2).

Senior Shawn Taylor tacked on 10 points.

Junior Latrell Alford tallied six assists and two blocked shots.

With the loss, the Patriots drop to 1 win, 3 losses on the season.
