Mariano enters his third season at the University of Valley Forge as the Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach. In addition, Mariano is entering his first year as Head Men’s Volleyball Coach, as he was named head coach in Spring 2019. Men’s Volleyball will be a club sport for the 2019-2020 academic year, with the intent of transitioning to a varsity sport. He is also responsible for all athletic facility operations.
In 2013, Mariano graduated from Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, North Carolina, with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management. During his time at Pfeiffer, Mariano competed for their NCAA Division II Men’s Volleyball Team, helping the Falcons secure the conference championship two years in a row. Mariano was also given the Beautiful Feet Award, which he received for participating in authentic Christian outreaches.
Originally from Kendall Park, New Jersey, Mariano and his wife, Deborah, reside in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. During his spare time, Mariano competes in beach volleyball tournaments.
