Cassandra Taylor is entering her second season at UVF. She was appointed University of Valley Forge's head women's basketball coach in June 2023 after five seasons as Associate Head Coach at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She helped develop John Jay into a CUNYAC contender, reaching the conference championship game twice and earning an ECAC bid in 2022-2023 while mentoring multiple all-conference players. Taylor was a two-year team captain at John Jay, averaging 14.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in 2016-2017 while ranking 13th nationally at Camden County Community College. She formerly coached for the NYC Heat AAU program and serves on Monumental Baptist Church's media team. A Philadelphia native, Taylor holds a bachelor's in Sociology from John Jay and two master's degrees from Concordia University.
