University of Valley Forge Athletics

Josh Simpson  will be entering his thrid year as the Head Softball Coach at the University of Valley Forge.  Last season he guided the Patriots to a program best 11 wins.  Simpson is a 2005 graduate of the University of Valley Forge.  He earned his degree in Pastoral Counseling.  While attending VFCC, Coach Simpson played 2 years of college baseball for the Patriots.  Josh is the Children's Pastor at Morning Star Fellowship in Bechtelsville, PA.  He also served as a Children's Pastor in Farmville, VA before returning to Pennsylvania.  He is married to his wife Kelly and is a proud father of three girls.

Coach Simpson said: "It's good to be back!  Valley Forge is near and dear to my heart; the school has played an impactful part in who I am today.  I have coached and been around sports my entire life and enjoy not only the competitiveness that they bring to our character, but the life lessons that are learned while playing. I am looking forward to what this year brings as we grow as a team and as followers of Christ."
