University of Valley Forge Athletics

Ialisson Amorim is entering his 2nd as the Assistant Men’s Volleyball Coach at the University of Valley Forge, bringing with him a wealth of international playing experience and a growing coaching resume rooted in player development and technical excellence.

Originally from Brazil, Amorim enjoyed a 16-year professional career as a middle blocker, competing with top-tier clubs across Brazil and Europe. Among his many accomplishments are a Brazil Superliga championship, a South American Club Championship, and multiple top-blocker awards at the highest levels of competition. His global experience provides UVF athletes with a unique perspective on elite-level volleyball.

Since transitioning to coaching in the U.S., Amorim has made a strong impact at both the club and collegiate levels. In addition to his role at UVF, he coaches for East Coast Power KOP and leads the boys’ and girls’ volleyball programs at DV Friends School. He is known for his attention to detail, strong leadership, and a passion for helping players grow on and off the court.

Amorim is committed to building a culture of discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the Patriots program.
