Josiah Colegrove enters his fifth season as an assistant coach for the University of Valley Forge Men’s Soccer team. A familiar face within the program, Colegrove has been a dedicated member of the Patriot family since 2017—first as a student-athlete and now as a coach and campus leader.
Colegrove was a four-year member for the Patriots from 2017 to 2021, where he majored in Sport Management and minored in Business. Known for his leadership on and off the field, he transitioned seamlessly into coaching immediately after graduation and has become a vital part of the program’s player development, recruitment, and tactical planning.
In addition to his coaching duties, Josiah serves the UVF community as a Housing Coordinator, supporting student life and contributing to a positive campus environment.
Beyond his roles on campus, Colegrove is actively involved in the local soccer scene. He has been a head coach at Phoenixville Area Soccer Club since the fall of 2021, continuing to develop young talent and strengthen grassroots connections. His journey with the club began as an intern in 2020, and he has remained a consistent presence ever since.
Josiah Colegrove is a passionate coach, loyal alum, and committed mentor whose roots in the UVF and Phoenixville communities continue to shape the next generation of student-athletes.
