Glodi Konga

Coach Konga will be entering his 2nd season as the Patriots Head Soccer Coach.  He is a 2015 graduate of Liberty University where he received his Bachelors degree in Exercise Science.  After completing his undergraduate degree, Konga remained at Liberty and earned his Masters Degree in Science of Sports Management.  Coach Konga was a member of the Liberty Flames soccer team where he competed at the NCAA Division 1 level in 2014 and 2015. While at Liberty University, he served as a Graduate Assistant in the Sport Management Program assisting in Sport Communication, History of Sport and Sport Coaching classes. He developed a primary focus in applied leadership theories and is currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Strategic Leadership   Prior to attending Liberty, Konga attended Cairn University for one season where he started all 17 games for the Highlanders and recorded 2 assists.  Before attending Cairn, Coach Konga was a member of the Cloud County Community College soccer team that won the 2011 NJCAA National Championship.  The Thunderbirds finished the season with a 22-1-3 record with 17 shutouts.  

Glodi Konga, M.S. is the Assistant Professor and Program Director of Sport Management at the University of Valley Forge. Mr. Konga spent the previous year serving as an Adjunct Professor within the Sport Management program as well as serving as the Head Men’s Soccer Coach here at the University of Valley Forge. He came to Valley Forge with over a decade of coaching experience including; an assistant soccer coach for the Buxmont Torch FC (NPSL), the Director of Coaching at Germantown Soccer Club in Philadelphia and has worked for Arsenal in the Community of England. He holds a UEFA coaching license. In addition, he has worked with Athletes In Action and Ambassadors Football on international soccer missions overseas on several occasions.
